Take a look at the rebranding of Swedish smoothie maker Froosh.

Design firm Pearlfisher was tasked with the job of redesigning the brand identity of Swedish urban smoothie brand Froosh “to solve the ’smoothie confusion’ in the Nordic regions and communicate pure fruit health benefits.” I think that the new look is far improved from the current look and feel (see below for the current bottle packaging design). The old look was a bit childish and ambiguous. The new branding features bold colors with a modern and sophisticated look. Whereas the old look gave off a childlike vibe, the new design grabs at the health conscious adult.

The only negative is that you need to live in one of the Nordic regions that carry Froosh in order to have a taste of this seemingly refreshing and healthy drink.

And for comparison purposes, you’ll find a photo of the current Froosh bottle branding below.

Get funky with the latest weird Japanese drink, Orange with Rare Cheese Flavor from Tropicana!

Tropicana, the famous orange juice maker is venturing into weird territory to satisfy the palates of their Japanese customers. The new Orange with Rare Cheese flavor is supposed to offer a “sweet and sour” flavor akin to that of combining oranges and cream cheese. In Japan, apparently “rare cheese desert” is just another name for the popular American desert known simply as cheesecake. Still, the liquid combination of oranges and cheesecake make me wonder exactly just how the concoction tastes. Admittedly, I’d definitely give this drink a try, though I’d recommend that Tropicana give it a more inviting name.

I think that illustrator Andrew Bannecker did an excellent job of bringing those ideals out on these bottles with such lovely drawings. With one small bottle of this drink, produced by Coca-Cola Spain, you can make up to 2 liters of drink. In this instance, less really is more because a tiny bottle produces a lot of beverage. In an effort to cut costs and and be as efficient as possible, Coca-Cola Spain decided to offer simply the syrup (that’s what you get in the bottles) and from there you add water and kaboom, instant drink with a small carbon footprint.

I’m interested in how Menos es Más tastes. I’m thinking that it has a milky flavor but I could be completely wrong. Have you tried it? Let us know what it tastes like!

Evoid Drinks feature real fruit juice in sexy packaging. What more could I ask for!

Evoid Drinks recently just launched their new website and introduced their new line of fruit drinks for the health conscious. The UK based juicer hopes to stock schools with the additive free drink and have been been providing can crushing and collection services to that that stock their drinks (awesome idea). Forget the taste, I’m blown away just from the packaging – sexy! I’m pretty sure that I won’t be able to find these in Hawaii – so those of you that get chance to taste these let me know what you think!

“At Evoid, we make drinks that sing. Pop the ring pull, flip the lid or rip off the corner and enjoy. Pick the Evoid that speaks to you. Each one zings with pure, in-your-face fruity goodness that tastes way beyond irresistible. Genius! Yep, straight from the horse’s mouth – from us to you. They really are that good! And because we’re all about truth – we never add anything artificial. Ever. Every Evoid drink contains real fruit juices (never less than a stonking 78%) that naturally strum up a storm on your tongue. Sweet. They’re even health freak friendly – just one Evoid counts towards 1 of your 5 a day. Talk about a fruit fuelled revolution!”
