Plastic Bottles, Glass and Cans
Posted in Ads, Products by Coty | Tags: Aluminum, Cans, Earth, Glass, Green, Plastic Bottles, Recycle, UKHere is a set of cute little video on recycling plastic bottles, glass and cans that I stumbled upon on Vimeo. The advert was done by the people that run Recycle Now. How many of you recycle?
Menos es Mas
Posted in Featured, Juice, Misc. by Coty | Tags: Coca-Cola, Earth, Green, Instant, Menos es Más, SpanishMenos es Más bills itself as being a drink that is all about optimism and joy. I think that illustrator Andrew Bannecker did an excellent job of bringing those ideals out on these bottles with such lovely drawings. With one small bottle of this drink, produced by Coca-Cola Spain, you can make up to 2 liters of drink. In this instance, less really is more because a tiny bottle produces a lot of beverage. In an effort to cut costs and and be as efficient as possible, Coca-Cola Spain decided to offer simply the syrup (that’s what you get in the bottles) and from there you add water and kaboom, instant drink with a small carbon footprint.
I’m interested in how Menos es Más tastes. I’m thinking that it has a milky flavor but I could be completely wrong. Have you tried it? Let us know what it tastes like!
Colorless Coca-Cola Can
Posted in Misc., Soda by Coty | Tags: Can, Coke, Cola, Eco, Green, Pop, Ryan Harc, SodaThis eco-friendly colorless design is concept work done by New York based industrial designer, Ryan Harc. The idea was to create a can minus the spray painted color and featuring an embossed like surface instead. I actually like the minimalistic look of the can and can appreciate the thought behind it.
“A convex logo substitutes colorfully sprayed can. Naked can help to reduce air and water pollution occurred in its coloring process. It also reduces energy and effort to separate toxic color paint from aluminum in recycling process. Huge amount of energy and paint required to manufacture colored cans will be saved. Instead of toxic paint, manufacturers process aluminum with a pressing machine that indicates brand identity on surface.”
What do you guys think? Is this something that you would like to see implemented? Do you prefer the classic red can? Or do you not care?
